Locations and generation

Deserts in Minecraft are barren sand filled wastelands and this is where the Minecraft Desert Temples spawn. They are a uncommon structures and often will be buried in sand, making them hard to find.

Structure and Layout

The Desert temples have a main hall in between with two towers on both the sides. The towers have orange patterns over it and between them is the entrance to the pyramid. The whole pyramid is built using normal. chiselled and cut sandstone blocks.

There are several entrances on the rood top and the entry floor is lined with orange and blue terracotta.

The main attraction of a Desert Temple is the middle of the room where there is a hollow room down below with traps and treasure. The players can dig through the middle blue terracotta block to find the passage.

The hollow passage below consists of 4 small chest which are trapped using a stone pressure plate in the middle. This is hardwired to 6 TNT blocks which will explode if the player touches it. Therefore, be careful as to not touch it.
