Forza Milan, Fans stunned as Jannik Sinner trolls Fabio Fognini after beating him in Rome, apo
Moments after winning the Italian derby against Inter fan Fabio Fognini at the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome, Jannik Sinner scrawled ‘Forza Milan’ on a live television camera. The 20-year-old qualified for the Round of 16 in Rome by defeating his compatriot 2-6, 6-3, 3-6.
The tournament takes place immediately outside the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, where the Coppa Italia final between Juventus and Inter took place on Thursday.
Sinner upset Fabio Fognini twice as he wrote ‘Forza Milan’ on a television camera after beating him. Sinner is a Rossoneri fan, while Fognini supports Inter. However, he clarified after the game that he didn’t remember Fognini was an Inter fan. “I apologised to him for writing Forza Milan, I had forgotten his football faith. It was nothing personal. I instinctively wrote it, but then I felt guilty. I apologised and we joked about it,” he said at a press conference.
Fans on Twitter react to Jannik Sinner’s support for the Red and Black
