Epic Games has reintroduced their annual Halloween event called Fortnitemares back into Fortnite. The studio has added new skins, missions, weapons, game modes and more to continue the Halloween festivities. The event also comes with exciting crossovers to the game, such as Michael Myers, Jack Skellington, and Alan Wake. The map is decorated with Halloween-themed ornaments, giving the game a spooky vibe.

Speaking of these decorations, one such set of items is the Zombie Road Signs, which you can find scattered across the island. The event has introduced many new quests in the game that you can complete for rewards. One of these quests requires you to assist in destroying three zombie signs. Here is how you can find and destroy these signs.

Destroy the Zombie Road Signs to complete the Fortnitemares quest in Fortnite

Finding the Zombie Road Signs

Players will be required to assist in destroying the zombie road signs to complete the “Fortnitemares Trick or Treat” quest as part of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4. You will be awarded 15,000 XP if you fulfil this mission. To complete this quest, you only need to do two things. Locate the zombie signs and destroy them. Completing this quest will be essential to earning XP and advancing further in this year’s Halloween event.

Zombie road signs are located all over the map. While many zombie road signs are across the Fortnite map, you only need to destroy three to finish the quest. There is no particular location that you must visit in order to find them. However, they are more commonly found near gas stations and on the road junctions. Here are the locations in which you can find Zombie Road Signs –

• Mega City
• Breakwater Bay
• Sloppy Shores
• Shattered Slabs
• Frenzy Fields
• Steamy Springs

While you can land in any of these locations to destroy them, it is recommended you land at a place where they are highly concentrated so you can quickly complete the challenge. Sloppy Shores has three areas that are quite close to each other. The best place to land is Breakwater Bay, next to Eclipsed Estate.

Destroying the Zombie Road Signs

The Zombie Road Signs are located quite close to each other in Breakwater Bay, and the area is not saturated with many players. This allows you to do your quests easily. It is also better for you to do the quest at the start of the game so you are not bothered by the storm. Once you find them, you can use your pickaxe or any other weapon to destroy them. They take two to three hits of your pickaxe to destroy, but you can use your other weapons to speed up the process.
