Caldwell city council votes to suspend downtown paid parking
Caldwell, ID (CBS2) — The City of Caldwell held a special city council meeting on Friday to vote on the downtown parking meters after hearing public input on Aug. 26.
The city council voted to suspend paid parking immediately, they also voted not to renew the downtown parking operations agreement with the Car Park for fiscal year 2025.
The council said they will work with the Car Park to make sure the messaging on the meters shows the changes but there is not a set date to have the meters removed.
